The mentoring section lets a mentor review a student's trades inside TMM. A mentor creates a group — public or private — and a student who applies and is accepted shares their trades with that mentor.
The mentor can then go through the trades and leave recommendations that the student sees, which makes reviewing a large number of trades faster than exchanging screenshots.
Taking part in mentoring as a student requires at least a Trader subscription.
The mentoring platform is open to any user with a Trader PRO subscription.
A mentor can create public groups, listed for everyone, or private ones that are reachable only by link and require an invite code to apply.
Go to the Mentorship section, click "Create new group", fill in the form and save.
Once the group exists you can share its join link, or leave it public so it appears in the general list of mentoring groups and anyone can apply.
Click the "Trades list" button next to a member in the group list. That opens the My trades section for the selected student, where the mentor can go through every trade.
A mentor also gets a student selector in the filters, so switching from one student to another takes one click, and can build widgets or an analytics board on a student's data.
After approving a student into the group, a mentor can see all of that student's trades and build widgets or analytics boards on them.
A mentor cannot see API keys, cannot delete or change trades, and cannot see the student's personal data apart from the email address.
A student can leave the group at any time, which immediately ends the mentor's access to their trades.
